Employee Relations
The Georgia Tech Human Resources Employee Relations unit is responsible for helping to develop and maintain a positive work environment for everyone. The Employee Relations unit strives to promote proper management practices, appropriate workplace behaviors, positive work relationships, and compliance with human resources policies and procedures. In addition, the Employee Relations unit helps to resolve work-related complaints and assist with conflict management.
When to contact HRP: performance or behavioral concerns, policy violations, conflict resolution
Compensation
The Compensation Team establishes and maintains salary rates and makes individual salary decisions to help recruit, retain, and motivate employees.
When to contact HRP: job description updates, job reclassifications, job promotions, supplemental pay requests, in-range adjustments, external offers above MRP, internal offers above 9.9%,

Georgia Tech Human Resources (GTHR) continues to transform the performance management process by digitizing all phases in within the system. Through the Performance Management @Tech module, supervisors and employees have a streamlined and user-friendly interface to conduct each phase, fostering a more efficient and transparent performance assessment process.
