Eighth Cohort of Inclusive Leaders Academy Welcomes 66 Staff Leaders

Georgia Tech’s Inclusive Leaders Academy (ILA) has welcomed its eighth cohort of 66 participants from diverse backgrounds and over 30 departments.
More than 500 participants have graduated from the program since its inception in 2017, earning the title “Culture Champions.” ILA aims to develop self-awareness, courage, mindfulness, and social intelligence among its members. These skills serve as the foundation of successful leadership, allowing leaders to acquire a more profound comprehension and establish more meaningful connections with their team members and stakeholders.
ILA is a 16-week immersive learning experience made up of online and instructor-led courses, and an equivalent of 27 hours of learning and practice. The curriculum includes several core components to unlock individual leadership insights while fostering group transformation.
“We are excited to have another group of people leaders diving into this content together. According to feedback, the skills and community developed throughout this program have changed lives for the better,” said Pearl Alexander, Executive Director of Organizational Culture, and founder of ILA. The content aligns well with Tech’s leadership competency model.
“Fostering inclusive leaders who embody our organizational values is paramount to our success,” said Alexander. “ILA provides participants with a distinctive opportunity for deep reflection and personal growth.”
