Staff Executive Administrator Compensation

Staff Executive Administrators are Administrative Officers that have been appointed a VP title or equivalent of Chief functional officer. They either maintain positions on the President’s cabinet or directly report to an Executive Vice President and are reviewed annually by the Chief Business Officer (CBO) and Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) or their designee(s).

Staff Executive Administrators will be entitled to the following compensation:

  1. Relocation Assistance
  2. Enhanced accrual rate of vacation/annual leave
  3. Car Allowance

Relocation Assistance

To attract the best faculty and staff, Georgia Tech’s employment offers must be competitive. Georgia Tech may choose to provide relocation assistance to new employees, provided adequate funding is available and proper approval has been obtained.

Enhanced Accrual Rate of Vacation/Annual Leave

A Staff Executive Administrator employed on a twelve (12) month or fiscal year basis shall be entitled to vacation/annual leave earned at the rate of one and three-fourths working days (14 hours) per month.

Car Allowance

Policy Statement: Designated employees may receive a vehicle allowance. This Vehicle Allowance Program is intended to cover all local and regional GT-related business travel that an authorized individual may be required to make because of their job.

Staff Executive Administrators that have been appointed a VP title or equivalent of Chief functional officer will be eligible for Tier I. These individuals will receive an annual amount of $10,800 ($900.00 monthly).
