Employee Appreciation Day is our annual celebration of the incredible people who make Georgia Tech a great place to work. After a successful launch last year, we’re thrilled to keep the tradition going with a full week of activities, giveaways, and appreciation. Throughout the week, faculty and staff can enter a drawing for a chance to win exclusive Georgia Tech memorabilia and unique experiences.
- Monday, March 3:
- Beginning at 8 a.m., faculty, staff, and postdocs only need to enter once for a chance to win exclusive Georgia Tech experiences or memorabilia in celebration of National Employee Appreciation Day. Click here to enter now.
- Green Goodbyes, Georgia Tech’s free campus student thrift store, will be open for Staff and Faculty Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It is free; all you need is your Buzz Card.
- If you can’t make it during the day, stop by on Wednesday, March 5, from 4 – 6 p.m.

- Tuesday, March 4:
- Georgia Tech Human Resources, in partnership with the SMILE student organization, will be handing out special treats to faculty and staff as a token of appreciation.
- Georgia Tech Athletics invites faculty and staff to join the last home men’s basketball game of the season as the Jackets square off against Miami on Tuesday, March 4, at 7 p.m. As a thank you, we’re offering two complimentary tickets to the game. To claim your tickets, please click here. You can also claim your tickets on game day by going to the box office outside the main gate at the corner of Fowler and 10th.

- Wednesday, March 5: Stop by the second floor of the John Lewis Student Center (by the John Lewis quote) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to write appreciation cards for your colleagues — because a little gratitude goes a long way. This is a great opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to express thanks to Georgia Tech employees.

The drawing closes at noon on Friday, March 7, in conjunction with National Employee Appreciation Day, and winners will be announced at 1 p.m. on the Georgia Tech Human Resources Instagram page.
