Are you a woman in leadership looking for an opportunity to enhance your skills and join a community of women working to advance a culture of inclusive excellence at Georgia Tech?

Apply to join the 2024 Leading Women@Tech cohort or nominate your colleagues.

This four-month experience was created to champion career and leadership development opportunities for women leaders at Georgia Tech.

Over the past seven cohorts, we have seen many accomplished women leaders achieve greater effectiveness and success due to the insights and habits they developed or honed through their participation in this program,” said Amanda Jomaa, program manager.

This year, Leading Women@Tech will focus on the “Power of Being Mindful” through a curriculum designed to integrate competency development across five key areas:

  • Leadership and Storytelling
  • Self-Efficacy
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Mindful Leadership
  • Intercultural Dialogue (Leading With Our Common Humanity)

Participants will explore these concepts through workshops, dialogues, and executive coaching delivered by program faculty who are national and international thought leaders with deep expertise in competency building. Books and other materials will supplement session participation, offering tools and techniques to fortify you as a leader of both self and others.

By the conclusion of this program, participants will gain greater self-awareness, the knowledge to navigate change, and the presence of a transformed leader who holds space for others to do the same.

If you are interested in nominating yourself or a colleague (from both faculty and staff who are at the assistant/associate director level and above), please fill out the nomination form here by Wednesday, June 26.
