We are thrilled to announce the launch of “Communities of Connection”.

These employee-led community groups are designed to foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie among our workforce by bringing together individuals who share common interests, life experiences, hobbies, and concerns. Centered under at least one of the 8 Dimensions of Wellness, these groups provide a platform for mutual support and connection.

While Employee Resource Groups serve historically underrepresented communities, Communities of Connection are the opportunity for employees to connect through common interests. These groups embody the belief that by coming together, we can break barriers, ignite engaging dialogues, and foster a profound sense of belonging in the workplace. Whether you’re a seasoned professional, a passionate advocate, or someone seeking support and companionship, Communities of Connection welcomes you!

“Launching Communities of Connection represents a significant milestone in our collective endeavor to cultivate support networks, encourage the exchange of ideas, and create the opportunity for Georgia Tech employees to connect personally and professionally. Through this initiative, we are not only establishing connections but also laying the foundation for a community characterized by a sense of belonging and fun!”, said Jennifer Attilus-August, Inclusion & Belonging Program Manager.

As we embark on this journey together, remember that Communities of Connection are open to all who are driven by a passion for championing diversity and inclusion, exploring new ideas, or simply forging genuine connections. Stay tuned for upcoming events, opportunities to engage, and inspiring stories from our vibrant communities.
