OneUSG Connect will bring all University System of Georgia (USG) institutions onto one technology platform to manage payroll, recruitment and hiring, and benefits.

Processing Deadlines

We want to ensure you have the information needed to process any personnel transactions
as we move toward the launch of OneUSG Connect. Below, you will find key dates regarding:

PSF and Taleo Deadlines

Feb 12: Faculty (Academic & Research): Deadline to send unit approved GT-TRACS Packages to Faculty Affairs

Feb 19: Faculty (Academic & Research): Deadline to get PSFs for full approved GT-TRACS packages to Faculty Affairs 

(PSF) February 28: Deadline for campus users to submit HR actions to GTHR via PSF

  • HR actions will resume at go-live on March 23
  • At go-live, managers and those with manager access can use Manager Self-Service (MSS) to submit HR actions

(Taleo) March 6: Ability to create new postings in Taleo will be disabled at 11:59 p.m.

  • With the exception of creating new postings, use of Taleo will be business as usual—screening and dispositioning applications, selecting applicants for hire, and submitting job offer details
  • Starting April 6, Careers (the new applicant tracking system) will be available for posting staff and Tech Temp openings, screening and dispositioning applications, selecting applicants for hire, submitting job offer details, initiating background checks (GTHR only), and initiating new hire onboarding (GTHR only)

March 7- 23: Only emergency HR actions will be entered into PeopleSoft

  • Emergency HR actions are actions that affect pay and/or benefits (e.g., termination). Criteria to qualify:
    • Financial impact to employee.
    • Benefit impact to employee.
    • Emergency hire.​

March 20 - April 6: No new job postings

  • Taleo users can submit postings via Taleo by March 6 to be posted by GTHR by March 20
  • On and after April 6, managers and those with manager access can use Manager Self-Service (MSS) to create Staff and Tech Temp openings in Careers
  • Postings will then be reviewed and approved by GTHR

May 15: Talent Acquisition to cancel all unfilled Taleo requisitions

  • Available to all users until May 15

Compensation Deadlines

The OneUSG Connect Project Team wants to ensure you all have the information you need as we move toward Go-Live (March 23). The chart below reflects deadlines for all Compensation requests. These critical dates were established to ensure all requests are approved and PSFs are submitted/approved prior to the March 13 deadline communicated previously.

IMPORTANT: Communication with your designated Compensation Consultant is critical during this period. As you meet with your Consultants over the next few weeks, make them aware of any upcoming requests. GTHR Compensation will work closely with you to ensure the deadlines are met.

    

February 3: Deadline to submit Reorganization Requests, Advanced Salary Requests (HRAPs), Job Evaluations, Position Reclassifications, and Desk Audits

  • Upon Compensation’s approval, PSFs will need to be submitted to GTHR by February 28.
  • HR actions will resume at Go-Live on March 23.
  • At Go-Live, managers and HR Representatives/Business Partners can submit requests by following the processes that will be outlined in future training.
     

February 14: Deadline to submit Position Change/Adds and Temporary/Interim Pay Requests

  • Upon Compensation’s approval, PSFs will need to be submitted to GTHR by February 28.
  • HR actions will resume at Go-Live on March 23.
  • At Go-Live, managers and HR Representatives/Business Partners can submit requests by following the processes that will be outlined in future training. 

March 7- 23: Only emergency HR actions will be entered into PeopleSoft

  • Emergency HR actions are actions that affect pay and/or benefits (e.g., termination). Criteria to qualify:
    • Financial impact to employee.
    • Benefit impact to employee.
    • ​Emergency hire.
  • Any request received after its deadline will not be considered unless it is an approved emergency HR action. If you submit a request after any deadline, you will receive a message with a reminder of the processing timeline.
