The European Union (EU) passed the EU General Data Protection Regulation that applies to personal data collected, stored, processed, or used about anyone located in the EU, regardless of whether they are a citizen or permanent resident of an EU country. Georgia Tech is required under this regulation to gain consent from any employee located in the EU before collecting, storing, processing, or using sensitive personal data. For more information about this regulation, visit the GT EU General Data Protection Regulation Compliance Policy.
If you are an existing employee or affiliate located in the EU and wish to exercise your right to give or withdraw consent, please contact Institutional Research & Enterprise Data Management at eugdpr@edm.gatech.edu.
If you are a new hire located in the EU, complete and print this packet, which contains the EU GDPR Consent, Personal Data and Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability forms. Send all printed and signed documents to your hiring manager.
